Victor E. J. Orth, Jr., an accomplished Senior Executive Director, possesses a comprehensive background in corporate business management. He has hands-on experience in the privatization of State assets, utilities and financial institutions; as well as real estate development, and financial consulting across multiple international markets. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture and Planning from Illinois Institute of Technology, a Master’s of Science degree from Nottingham Trent University in England and a Master’s from the Technical University of Budapest and the Budapest University of Economic Sciences.
Mr. Orth is a former Partner of Ernst & Young in Athens, Greece; previously a Partner with Arthur Andersen in Budapest, Hungary; and a former Partner and Managing Director with PWC in Budapest, managing a staff of over 200 in 21 countries in Central, Eastern & Southern Europe. He is also MRICS and Accredited Senior Appraiser certified.
Orth’s extensive career also includes roles as Owner and CEO at DMV Capital Group in Hong Kong, Senior Director at Gulf One Group in Dubai, and various leadership positions in high-profile investment firms across the UAE, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia. He has directed significant projects, such as the development and management of a 40 billion USD portfolio of 19 domestic projects in Abu Dhabi, and has driven international expansion efforts into Eastern Europe, Northern Africa, the Middle East, and the Far East. Victor Orth also worked for the UNHCR in Kosovo, Bosnia-Herzegovina and Croatia.
Orth has contributed to and was the managing editor for several industry publications and is a frequent speaker at international real estate and finance conferences including a series of 12 Thought Leadership Conferences throughout the Middle East in cooperation with the Financial Times.
He is adept at managing startups and company divisions with full P&L and balance sheet responsibilities. Other notable presentations were given at the CABERNET conference in Sofia Bulgaria, for ProdExpo in Athens, Greece and a presentation to the United Nations Conference on Eastern Europe in Geneva, Switzerland. Victor Orth speaks Arabic, German and Hungarian, and he is known for his sense of humor.
